We are celebrating 30 years of the Stuart Air Show by talking with the people who know it the best. Today we talk with Michael Moon. Mike first volunteered with the Stuart Air Show in 1996, when the Council on Aging was running the show, and is the former Airport Manager. He went on to become a board member for many years and played a significant role in the growth of our event.
He recalls many years of memories at the air show with his kids and wife, who would all volunteer, year-after-year. The Stuart Air Show is a family affair for the Moons! Thank you Mike for all your hard work over the years and for sharing your memories with us!
Michael’s children, Charles, Christen, and Cody in 1996 with the Otto Helicopter at the Stuart Air Show. Mike’s children would go on to volunteer at the Stuart Air Show year-after-year as they grew up here in Stuart, FL.
