Dewey Vinaya is a retired US Army Paratrooper with 23 years of service. He also performed at the Stuart Air Show and nationwide with the USASOC "Black Daggers" as a demonstration jumper and team leader. Dewey’s son is currently serving in the US Army as an Infantryman (11B).

Since retiring in 2015, Dewey has been actively involved with the airshow. He started on the Military Support team, became a board member, and has led Air Operations for the several years. Dewey resides locally with his wife, a native of Stuart, FL, and their three children. The family enjoys swimming and taking advantage of the beautiful Florida weather.
