Dewey Vinaya is a retired US Army Paratrooper, who served 23 years. He also used to be a performer in the Stuart Air Show (and all over the nation!) with the USASOC "Black Daggers" as a demonstration jumper and team leader.  Dewey’s son is presently serving in the US Army as an Infantryman (11B).

He has been associated with the airshow since he retired in 2015. Dewey started on the Military Support team, became a board member and has lead Air Operations for the last 3 years.

In July, Dewey celebrated his 11 year wedding anniversary to Stuart native, Lauren Crow. They parent 3 children (Mason Sene 18, Raymond James 8, and Elizabeth Carline 2). The couple call St Lucie home where they spend most of their days swimming in the pool or out as a family enjoying the FL weather.
